- Voice Recordings: Audio recordings when you use the voice input feature to practice speaking. These are processed in real-time for speech-to-text conversion and are not permanently stored on our servers.
- Chat Messages: Text messages you send during AI conversation practice.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Lesson progress, speaking minutes, messages sent, conversation count, scores, streaks, and daily practice statistics.
- Account Identifiers: A unique user ID generated by our authentication system.
- Subscription Status: Information about your subscription plan and trial status.
- Device Information: Device type and operating system version for compatibility purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- App Functionality: To provide AI-powered language tutoring, generate personalized lessons, evaluate your language skills, and deliver real-time feedback.

Important: None of the third-party AI services (Groq, Deepgram) use your data to train their AI models. Your conversations and voice recordings are processed in real-time and are not retained by these services beyond what is necessary to fulfill the request.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Your account data and learning progress are securely stored using Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure) with industry-standard encryption.
- Voice recordings are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers or third-party servers.
- Profile photos are stored securely in Firebase Storage.
- We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
5. Data Retention
- Account data and learning progress are retained for as long as your account is active.
- Voice recordings are processed in real-time and discarded immediately after transcription.
- If you delete your account, all associated personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Data Portability: Request your data in a portable format.

Flowly is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages. However, our App is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. 8. Cookies and Tracking
Flowly does not use cookies, advertising trackers, or any cross-app tracking technologies. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
